Question Will Kunena survive?

Let me first say that I really, really want Kunena to live and grow to become the premier integrated Joomla forum. It seems that communication and maybe development have slowed down a bit and that begins to worry me. A big part of choosing a forum is having a strong belief that it will be supported and improved. Communication is key in making users feel a certain level of comfort. Been a while for a tweet or blog - hopefully because everyone is diligently working, but some occasional, very brief updates would help me breathe easier.

Thanks for your volunteer work on this project and I'm anxiously awaiting the next iteration.

You can contribute to make Kunena stronger! Help out other users here in this forum. Translate the language package to your language. If you are a designer contribute with template etc.

If you go into the file repository and read the change log you will see that the developers are working on the next release, no worry!

Fair go!!!

The developers worked endlessly for weeks with little sleep to get Kunena 1.08 out and now that it has come out they have had a chance to recover and recharge. If you have looked at the SVN you would notice that development is still ongoing and moving along quite well on the next release. Plus this is all has been communicated on the forum (i am not a mind reader)

still wish that i can write my forum signature through a jomsocial plugin and do it from my jomsocial profile :(

I think this is a bit premature. I didn't know there was a schedule that the devs needed to meet or any deadline that had been promised.

We love stars on the Joomla Extension Directory . :-)
