Your message must hit some mod_security (apache plugin) rule.
For some reason Joomla does not pick up menu item for Kunena, which results of having component/com_kunena in your URL.
I'm not sure what could cause this: do you have any SEF components installed or any plugins etc, which may trigger this?

Odd that its causing mod_security issues, but anyway.
No, I use to have Sh404 sef but uninstalled that a while ago. Funnily enough I am having odd issues with jfusion but completely different which makes me wonder if there is something else going on here.
I am moving to a new VPS account soon, and think I will do a fresh Joomla install and import members and content from there and re-install all of the mods etc I need too, hopefully that should make things better

I believe that it would -- I've never run issues like this. It almost looks like SEF is broken -- there could be plugin leftover from SH404SEF, which is causing this.

Excuse me: are we discussing a "HTTP 501" problem occurring here, at
www.kunena.com
, when the user tried to post a message in these support forums? :S

I double checked and there are no leftovers from SH404SEF and no other plugins. I think the fresh install in the coming weeks should get me through it all as i will only be moving bare minumum required data
