Kunena 6.4.7 Released

This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

Topics contains old discussions (generally more than one year ago or based on circumstances that subsequently changed) or topics resolved in other ways. Topics moved into this category are closed from further discussion.

Hello,

Kunena is not dead, it's just that developpers work all the times on Kunena 1.6, but for Kunena 1.5.6 this will released soon.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

K1.5.6 hasnt got any new features and isnt really any different from 1.5.5 so no need to hound the devs on that. If you go look at the SVN they have been working nearly everyday on K1.6. Im not sure when K1.6 will be ready but they can only go as fast as they can, and it seems like they are working pretty hard on that. At some stage they need to just put their head down adn finish K1.6 and so thats why they have been pretty quiet on the site and not responding to all the issues with K1.5.5, as once K1.6 is released this will fix these.

still wish that i can write my forum signature through a jomsocial plugin and do it from my jomsocial profile :(

peetree21: thanks for your reply.

K1.5.6 was delayed because of main developers had very little time (and sleep) in previous 3 weeks. I could have done the release alone, but unfortunately my build environment was broken and I chose to use all my limited free time developing K1.6.

We are also lacking active testers, which caused the delay in the first place. The release was ready 4 weeks ago, but we didn't get too many test results to confirm that the issues were really fixed.

K1.6 is progressing well, but there are still many tasks to be done. There's no official date for the release as it depends on how much time we can use for it.
