Question Twitter

I am just wondering if anyone thinks that the posibility of sending of the topic to Tweeter would be a good option for kunena.

Basicaly my sugestion to the developers is to place a small icon under the avatar alowing the posibility of the poster to twitt the post!

Does anyone thinks that this is a good idea? :huh:

It would be very nice to have an option like Tweet this so that your friends at twitter can see the topic you're posting in!

That's exactly what the "SHARE Add This" roll over widget already does. It is located to the right of your avatar, below the "Search Forum."

Exactly, and in most cases posts are too long for a tweet anyway (140 characters max) so the best you could hope fore would be a " I just posted in %THREAD NAME% at %SITE NAME% " anything else would be too long for a tweet and adding a link to the thread wouldn't work unless you could get it shortened and sent back and then processed.

If you wanted to force members to share you might be able to change the redirect to the twitter "Share This" instead of taking them back to the post. I have no idea about the coding of it though just a concept you might consider or pursue to get it if you really want it

Personally I don't think its a good idea or worth the effort and I love twitter :woohoo: that should tell you something :dry:

There is many modules to "Addthis to Twitter".
I think that would be great to include another position on Kunena, below the author box.
