Hi

I'm having my website redesigned and I need a forum extension for Joomla 1.5 to go with it. I've had a look at Kunena but can't see if it has all the elements I need. These are:

*only registered members can read and post on the forum
*members have to be approved by the admin/moderator before being allowed to join or they need an activation code

*all comments/posts to be approved by the admin/moderator before being posted

*admin/moderator can ban people and delete posts

*has smilies

*has as few bugs as possible because I don't want to spend all my time trying to unravel problems.

*allows avatars

*will link with members who sign up for other parts of the site.

*can prevent people from uploading images without being approved by admin/moderator.

*posts won't be shown in google cache or searches.

Security is my main concern because I don't want spam, and I want people to sign up to the site before being able to read or post to ensure genuine people join the discussion.

Thanks in advance

No, I'm the 'didn't know joomla even existed until the designer mentioned she was building my new site on it a month ago' type.

I'm really grateful for your help, as finding a new forum is really daunting.

Thanks again, you're a star.
