Hello,

I figured this is the place to talk about this. Like many others I am happy to see Kunena go forward to being a Joomla 1.5 stable release. Today I had a look at the code build-up and noticed it doesn't follow the Joomla 1.5 structure. So I wonder if there is any reason for this? Is it still to come?

The new structure will make it easy to override views with templates, create different views etc.

Just my thoughts.

Hello,

Kunena 1.5 replace the function call in Kunena 1.0.9 by others compatibles with joomla 1.5 for don't use the legacy plugin. I think you talk about MVC but this will be for a next version before the 1.5. The main goal for Kunena 1.5 is to be supported natively by joomla 1.5...

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

In fact, maybe some things may seem strange because most of the things redone have been done with people from j! core team, and triing to follow joomla 1.6 structure ;)

Kunena 1.5 is just huge renaming project. We are starting gradual translation to MVC as soon as K1.5 has been stabilized (in a few weeks, I hope).

Ohhhhhhh, interesting. So Joomla is changing the structure in 1.6?

Kunena 1.5 is just huge renaming project.

Understand, as a developer I know the work that goes into this ;)

The main goal for Kunena 1.5 is to be supported natively by joomla 1.5

At the end of the day it doesn't really matter how it is done, as long as it works. Doing a rename and fixing bugs is a sound solution. I fully welcome the 1.5 native version.
