Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hi,

I recently installed a Kunena forum on my site and there are tabs (above the forums) that display code instead of text.

Here are the the codes showing in the tabs: "COM_KUNENA_MENU_INDEX" "COM_KUNENA_MENU_RECENT" "COM_KUNENA_MENU_RULES" "COM_KUNENA_MENU_HELP" "COM_KUNENA_MENU_SEARCH"

This won't look good to my users and I am wondering what might be wrong.

I have also attached a screen shot in case that helps. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Those are menu items -- you can change them in Joomla Menu Manager (Kunena Menu). No idea why they aren't translated.

Please try following: Go in backend to the "Kunena Control Panel" and click on button "Create Menu". It should to refresh the language strings in the tabs, provided that the language file "com_kunena.install.ini" error-free is available.

Path is "administrator/language/your language folder"
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!
