so... what is the advantage of having native Joomla 1.5 forumsoftware?
maybe this is more a question for an joomla forum, but i am curious what the difference in operations is between 1.0.9 and 1.5 om a joomla 1.5 install

There is virtually no difference from an enduser point of view. For administrators there are very few differences. The biggest difference is for developers.

There is also little to no difference in performance. It is a misunderstanding that J1.0 apps in legacy mode are slower or consumer more resources on the server.

It is the future and as soon as K1.5 goes stable we will focus all our development resources on it for new features. We are also working on MVC conversion - another thing only developers will really see and appreciate.

Hope this helps!
