Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hallo ,

mein Verein betreibt eine Website mit Joomla 3.10.11 und Kunena 5.2.6 mit Template BlueEagle5 1.5.2
Jetzt steht die Migration zu Joomla 4 an und davor müßte Kunena aktualisiert werden.
Ist es möglich, Kunena direkt von Version 5.2.6 zu 5.2.14 upzudaten und BlueEagle5 von Version 1.5.2 zu Version 1.6.8 oder sind Zwischenschritte notwendig, z.B. BlueEagle5 1.5.2 zu 1.6.0 zu 1.6.8?

Leider kann ich das mit Joomla 3.10.11 nicht mehr testen weil meine lokalen Webserver auf php 8.1 bzw. 8.2 umgestellt sind.

Über eine diesbezügliche Antwort würde ich mich freuen.

Ein direktes Upgrade von K5.2.6 zu Kunena 5.2.14 ist möglich, aber von Blue Eagle solltest du dich gleich trennn, da es mit Kunena 6.x nicht läuft.

Ich wollte daß Kunena und BlueEagle5 auf dem aktuellen Stand sind bevor auf Crypsis umgeschaltet und die Migration auf Joomla 4 durchgeführt wird.

Im Prinzip kannst du direkt von Kunena 5.2 zu Kunena 6.x migrieren, es sollte funktionieren. Aber es schadet nicht, wenn du vorher zu K5.2.14 aktualisierst.
Ein Update von Blue Eagle ist unnötige Arbeit, da es mit K6.x sowieso nicht funktioniert.
