Kunena 5.2 Beta 1 Released (24 Sep 2020)

The Kunena team is thrilled to announce the first public beta release of Kunena 5.2, a native Joomla extension for Joomla 3.9. This is a development release and should be only be used for testing; this version is not recommended for live websites at this stage.

The purpose of this release is to encourage testing by downloading, installing and identifying any problems or shortcomings that people may discover. K 5.2.0 B1 is stable and we are aware that people will discover defects. We encourage you to use the forum to report defects, as soon as they are discovered, so that the development team can work through the problems before the release of K 5.1 as a stable product. Reporting defects does not mean that the problems can or will be fixed. The Kunena team is looking forward to hearing your feedback on how well we have achieved our design goals.

I really do. I manage a website for a nature photography club in the netherlands. They really wanted a multi attachment feature.
The pictures aren't mine. Some members of the club made them.

I installed again the original version, I think the problem is in the url rewrite.
But I really don't know how to solve... :(

I think kunena is not passing correctly the count of user per page to the sef system.
The sef receive 20 as number of user per page but kunena shows 30, so every 3 pages there is a gap... I think this is the problem.

I see the problem (took me a little while to find Kunena because there's no obvious link to where you run your forum). I also notice that you have Joomlaboard installed. Why is that?

I don't know the cause of the problem nor how to fix it. I haven't encountered this before, either.

The URL rewrite issue is addressed in two parts: (1) your Joomla Global Configuration settings and (2) your .htaccess file. (Also, while you are working through this problem, I would remove sh404SEF because I think it's an unnecessary distraction). Please read Search engine optimization (SEO) that explains how to do your URL rewrites.

Where did you see joomlaboard?
I think that's not causing the problem.
I need sef404 to migrate old urls from the previous site.

What do you think about number of user per page? Why Kunena is passing a wrong value to the SEF?

Hello,

the best way is to use the default sef system integrated into Joomla! because the third party sef system like sef404 causing issues with kunena.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
