Kunena 6.4.13 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.13 [6.4.13] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.0
Hint: This version is primarily intended to facilitate an upgrade if Joomla was first updated to version 6.1 before Kunena was up to dated.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Question CB Kunena Forum access restriction help

Hello,

I am fairly new to the Kunena component, really liking it so far. I am using CB 1.2.3 and Kunena forum 1.6.1.

So far everything is working very well, but I've run into a challenge restricting access of the Joomla groups (Public, Registered, Special) certain Kunena categories. From what I can tell, when I try to change the access level, Kunena doesn't use the same options as Joomla/CB.

I would like to configure the Forums to be accessed in the following way:

Public: no access to Kunena forums. This part I have done successfully.

Registered: Access to the Registered only forums.

Special: Access to the Member Only forums.

How can I create the "Special" access group in Kunena? The only option I can see is "All Registered."

Sorry if this doesn't make sense. If anyone can provide some guidance, I would really appreciate it!
