The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.9 [K 7.0.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.
This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

Hi. On my site, my users host forum games. Some of these games require the hosts to be able to moderate their game. To do this, I make a new section and give them temporary moderation powers over that section.
With the new update though, these moderations are now capable of banning anyone on my site.
I'm not sure if this was possible prior to 1.6.1, but this could cause catastrophic damage to my site and community.
My site is integrated with JomSocial and I wasn't even aware until today that users could still use/edit their Kunena profiles.
Is it possible to completely remove the access to the Kunena profiles? (I would like to be the only person capable of banning, and I can easily do this from the backend.) At this point, users can only access their Kunena profiles from a typing in the URL. Now they can get into the moderation aspect of it from the new link.
I understand this might be an issue only I have, but it is very important for my site. Also, I apologize if this is in the wrong section. If it is, could a moderator please move it to the appropriate section?
TL;DR: I need to completely remove the Kunena profiles. I want all social networking to be done from JomSocial and do not need front end profile moderation. I do, however, require moderations to be able to edit/edit/move posts on the forum.
