Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Question Creating a 'Thank you' tab in CB ?

Hello, I'm a kunena 1.6 + CB 1.2.3 user on Joomla 1.5.21.

For those using the kunena latest module, you can see an option to display the saidthankyou/gotthankyouposts (and it works pretty well ;) ).

I was wondering if it was possible to use the module's frame (its basic php structure) to create a small CB plugin and have the saidthankyou/gotthankyouposts displayed in a new tab (or even integrate it in the existing forum tab if it's easier).

Although I have some clues of how it'd be done, I'm far to have a sufficient php level to do this.

Could we even keep the module's backend options (yet tweaking them a bit to display both saidthankyou and gotthankyouposts at the same time) so that it'd be easy to modify the tab's content ?

Otherwise, consider this as a feature request, since such a tab exists in the kunena profile, why not doing it in CB? :)

Not yet, I first wanted to see what people at kunena would say about it. But you're right, perhaps I should investigate more on the CB side, we'll see.

Anyway thanks for answering ;)
