Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Question Kunena 1.6 Menu and Jomsocial

Anyone using Kunena 1.6 and Jomsocial? I'm having an issue where the Kunena drop down menu disappears ONLY in Jomsocial when you attempt to move down the menu. Seems like it could be a z-index thing. The Kunena drop down displays fine, but when the mouse hits the Jomsocial toolbar (the gray bar in the attached image), the entire Kunena drop down disappears. It only happens in Jomsocial. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Okay gang-

For those of you using (or planning to use) Kunena 1.6 with Jomsocial, and are planning on using the Kunena Dropdown Menu, be sure to change the z-index of your Main Menu in Joomla. By default, the Jomsocial Nav z-index is 6600 which causes the Kunena Drop Down (or any other) to go all wonky. Simply up the z-index to something higher than 6600 and you should be good to go.
