Kunena 7.0.9 & Kunena 6.4.14 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.9 [K 7.0.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Hi,

I just installed Jomsocial 1.6 and Kunena..Integrated them from Kunena configuration, but whenever I post in kunena forum, the same does not appear in the activity stream of Jomsocail.

Can some one please help me if I have missed something? I believe that by default all the kunena posts appear under the activity stream of jomsocial.....Please correct me if I am wrong

Kunena 1.5 only adds posts from public forums int oactivity stream.

Kunena 1.6 can additionally have registered only posts in there.

Neither of them shows messages from Author+ forums.

Hi thanks for the response. But my question was that by default the post comes into the activity stream, but in my case it isnt.

Can you tell me the possible reasons for this? Is there any missing plugin that needs to be installed or is there any setting that needs to be done in Kunena configuration?

What kunena version do you using ?

To enable activity stream, there is nothing else to enable the configuration setting for it in backend and the new post will be displayed in activity stream.
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I am using Kunena 1.5.9.

Is it a version problem? If yes....then how do I upgrade?

Upgrade:

* Try it first in your test site (optional, but I always recommend it as it potentially shortens downtime in the real site)
* Take backup from your site
* Install new version
* Test it
