Question Signature not updating

I'm finding that when I try updating my Forum Signature they stay the same. It's as if the signature field is updating in my CB profile but not in Kunena, so there is no change seen in my actual forum signature, but there is in my profile.

I'm on CB 1.2.3 and Kunena 1.5.12.

I've looked through this thread and tried the SQL 'fix' but have had no luck - www.kunena.com/forum/12-community-builde...ed-signature-problem .

As far as I can tell the forum integration plugin is all set up fine to Kunena and visa versa.

As far as I can tell, this seems to be a limitation within the cb.simpleboardtab plugin for Community Builder and I suspect that there may need to be further work done to make this feature work with Kunena - but that's just my view. I am fairly sure that the folks at Joomlapolis are already aware of this issue and they may be able to suggest a way to overcome the problems that Kunena users are experiencing.

It may also be the case that, because of some differences between K 1.5 and K 1.6 that something may need to be done to the cb.simpleboardtab plugin to work with the different versions of Kunena but that is something you will have to ask at Joomlapolis . I think other users would be interested to know what you find out, too.

Appreciate the quick response. So am I right in thinking this is a known issue and there is no known work around at the moment? As stated I'm running the latest 1.5.12 Kunena, not the 1.6 version, along with the latest CB version. I'm unsure how long exactly this issue has been around as I only just discovered it myself as I went to update my Forum Signature for the first time in many many months.

I've posted the same question on the Joomlapolis boards too, hopefully i'll be able to find out how to get this working again, otherwise all my users are stuck with being unable to change their forum signatures and new users won't be able to add one - quite a major issue.

There are many workarounds for this issue and they have been discussed elsewhere in this forum. I believe they have also been canvassed at Joomlapolis, too. Searching the forum here and at Joomlapolis will provide you with ideas that may (or may not) suit your purposes. I would like to help you more but the solutions are as varied as the ways the people want to use Community Builder integrated with Kunena.

For my purposes, I find that it's easier to use my Kunena user profile to update my forum signature.

The only solutions i've managed to come across was the one I posted in the original post. I've been unable to find any solutions on the Joomlapolis forums and am still yet to have a response on there.

Is the Kunena Profile separate? I don't want to have users having to mess with 2 separate profiles, especially when the issue never used to exist. I don't suppose you could forward me to any suggestions to fix the issue?

Kunena is set to use the profile and avatar from Community Builder. And the Community Builder cb.simpleboardtab tab is set to use Kunena. I don't see what else can be done.

UPDATE - I've rolled back CB to 1.2.2 and the issue is solved. It seems like this is a bug introduced in the latest Community Builder - quite a major one! I'll report this to them
