Question K 1.6: CB login/user profile issues - login to be able to use Email, not Username)

It is not support but this is the situation I am facing.

[strike]1. The tabs that are atop of the forum i.e. Recent Topics, etc... Don't extend enough to fit on the tab and end up off of the tab onto the login area content.[/strike] Edit by sozzled

2. The RC1 wouldn't login using an email only designation from Community Builder... however, this RC2 does allow the login but it is confusing because it says Username for the login... I do not use Usernames for my site as it is email login only... so having an email sign in designation would be most appropriate.

Ok, I have figured out something about this issue. I had my profile and userlist linked to CB... First off, why would anyone want that even if they love and are using CB. Unless the integration of CB can have the user edit their Kunena profile why even have the option to go straight to the CB profile?

In fact, I think the Kunena Profile is absolutely neccessary. If I where you guys I would (recommend) using the Kunena profile...

this is at least until the CB profile can include all the parameters of Kunena's profile options.

Am I the only one that thinks this way?

Oh p.s. the Tabs work correctly once I made the change to not use the CB profile and userlsit.

Ok back to square 1.

I now see that the only three things you can change within CB is:

Message ordering
Preferred Viewtype
And signature board. However, what about the Thank yous and other things that are apart of the Kunena Board natively.

I can understand being able to edit your forum profile within CB, especially those three things. However, I don't get why I need to go to CB to edit my Kunena profile while using Kunena. I think my users can understand their board profile is different than their CB profile.

Lastly, my tabs are messed up again because they are forced to be round

The reason why I have to use the CB integration is because I can't edit anything from Kunena because I have CB setup.

There's currently no way to go from CB to Kunena profile. I will report this as a bug, so maybe we will find a good solution.

Login issue has already been reported.

CB tab kunena plugin causes issues if you have it enabled i would advise disbaling it and it will fix your issue

Because I am using CB I would like to have Username say Email because those are what I have the login parameters set for in CB and thus the only way my users can login...
