Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.
This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.
The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Careful with this solution.
First it will add another query to the page loads.
Second it will disable the JomSocial Activity Stream aggregation.
That means that if you have 10 replies to a single topic you will get 10 lines - one for each reply. Right now those 10 replies will get combined to a single entry per day, with the list of users who replied.
On large sites, this is a major issue, as individual entries will make the activity stream more or less useless since only a small portion of the day will fit on the activity stream page.

Yes we have been thinking about a work around.
I think the best we could come up with was to include a link to the post inside the text, maybe in combination with limiting the text - kind of a Read More link. That could point to the individual message and not the thread.
An alternative would be to create a new URL/func that would point to the latest entry of a thread. However this would only work for the summary activity page and not individual user pages, as every one would always go to the last post of a thread.
Nothing perfect - hence we have not coded for it.
