Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Hi

I was wondering if it is possible to have two profiles - one being the kunena forum profile and the other being the jomsocial profile.

I know I could probably achieve this by turning off the jomsocial integration in the backend, but I also want to have the jomsocial profile button in the kunena toolbar.

I have noticed that below the kunena toolbar there is a secondary link named "My Profile". Would it be possible to keep the "My Profile" tab in the kunena toolbar which will link to the jomsocial profile, and rename the secondary link beneath the toolbar "Forum Profile" and have this link to the kunena profile? While still retaining the link to the JS avatar

If so, how can I achieve this? I am aware it will require some hack..

install plg_mykunenatoolbar1.5.0b from here joomlacode.org/gf/project/kunena/frs/

then go to your JS profile, and click menu "Forum Settings" ;)

Excellent little plugin, I may look at adapting it to do the same from the kunena toolbar with the jomsocial profile settings.
