Kunena 7.0.9 & Kunena 6.4.14 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.9 [K 7.0.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.
This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.
The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Ive noticed that jomsocial likes to rescale all forum avatars displayed in post's to 64x64 is there a way i can fix this so it doesnt scale them so small the maximum scale of avatars in the jomsocial community end of my site is 120x120 does anyone know how i make the forum avatars a custom scale 
its not a urgent fix im patiently waiting for any ideas that can help
im a quick and eger learner this is why i chose opensource software
if its possible the scale im aiming to achive is 80x80

By the title of this post i new that, it had nothing to do with kunena, so the best place to ask this question would be on jomsocials forum and not here at K.com 
and even with that in mind this would fall in to topic of COMMON QUESTIONS and not support as nothing is actualy faulty you just dont like that exact feature.

ah ok i just assumed it would be a kunena issue since kunena is intergrated / compatible with jomsocial and it grabs the profile pictures from it since you configure kunena to work with jomsocial. not jomscoial to work with kunena.

G'day, C0n. Yes, as Cerberus wrote, this may be a case of "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's ..."
I have also moved this discussion topic and, maybe, someone else who is more familiar with JomSocial might be able to answer your question.
A similar situation arose in K 1.5.9 with resizing avatar sizes; but this problem was fixed in K 1.5.11. Scaling of avatar images also may involve the use of a graphic processor (like GD1 or GD2). Do you know if you have GD1 or GD2 or something like that?

its set to gd2 kunena version is 1.5.9 
maybe i should upgrade but it causes issues with my template :'(

Yes. If you had looked at the K 1.5.9 known problems item, you would have found that there was a problem with avatar sizes. This problem was fixed in K 1.5.11. It always pays to use the latest version of Kunena, test to see if the problem still occurs and then ask your question; to do otherwise only invites problems.
