Question [Resolved] Dead links due to conflicting SEO settings in JomSocial-generated category descriptions

For some reason the link listed directly under the forum title for each group is not working.

I cannot verify whether or not they worked before upgrading to the latest version of Kunena, my board is fairly new and I never tried to click them prior.

It throws a server error; The requested URL /"index.php was not found on this server.
The link's are correct and they do work outside of the board in JomSocial.
Any idea what I may have wrong?

To better help you, I would suggest that you read K 1.5.x Support: Please read this first.

From the looks of things, these "group links" that you refer to are pieces of "code" that you inserted into the descriptions of your categories. What version of Kunena are you using now and what version of Kunena were you using before you upgraded?

I very much doubt that JomSocial is somehow involved in this issue but your responses to these questions (and reading the topic that I referred to above) will point to a quick and (I believe) simple solution.

You are exactly right about the links coming from code inserts upon creation. I looked once you had pointed that out. But I'm not adding these codes myself.
If I type anything into the group description box group creation, it creates these links automatically.
It actually duplicates the link code and description and places it once in the groups forum description, and again in the groups forum header.

oooooops, forgot to mention I was using Kunena 1.5.10 and upgraded to 1.5.11

I may move this topic when I have properly understood what's going on at your website.

As you know K 1.5.10 had some problems - mostly involving email - but these issues that you write about probably arise from something you had in an even earlier version. In other words, I am suggesting that the issue arose using even before you upgraded to K 1.5.10 but you did not notice it. Were you using a different version before K 1.5.10?

I have the site set to private, so you wouldnt't be able to see what you needed anyway without some login info. So I'll PM you what you need.

And no there was no other version before K 1.5.10
The site is still in it's infant stages. I created it about a month ago and started out with;
Joomla 1.5.15
Jom Social 6.289
Kunena 1.5.10

Jom Social and Kunena both had update releases around the same time so I upgraded at that time and thats our history thus far.
