Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.
This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.
The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

This topic will remain in the JomSocial category because it helps other users of JomSocial (not just you). I have already discussed with the administration team the decision to relocate this topic in this category and we agree this is the best place for it.
This problem is important to be solved, I agree, not just for you but for other users of JomSocial who want to have their user profiles integrated with the Kunena forum. This issue is important to the Kunena.com website which uses JomSocial although the symptoms are not in evidence here. However, this issue does not affect all users: it only affects those users who have exercised the option to integrate JomSocial with Kunena. You can choose not to integrate JomSocial user profiles with Kunena, if you wish, and I suspect you won't have the problem.
I agree, the problem has not been solved. The problem will be attended to as soon as possible. The problem may or may not be addressed in K 1.5.12 (the last scheduled release for the K 1.5 series) or it may be fixed in K 1.6 (still in development), I don't know.
Please be patient. Someone with more knowledge about this will help.
