Kunena 7.0.2 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.2 [K 7.0.2] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Hello community, hello developers!

In the recent past I read here, that the problem with the huuge avatar pics is/was a 1.5.9 problem (see link ). They don't resize within the postings to a reasonable size - as they did in my old Fireboard 1.05 RC2.

Now I updated to 1.5.11 and the avatars are still same huge size - do I need to reset something? I couldn't find any new option in the backend concerning this.

Thank you,
Oliver

Hello,

What kunena template do you using ? What Community Builder version do you using ?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hello xillibit,

I'm using a modified default_ex template (copied it and modified the colors in the .css)
I use CB 1.22, latest available version. "Use avatar picture from Community Builder" is activated.

You aiming, that the problem comes from CB 1.22? Worked all fine before I migrated from FB 1.05RC2 + CB 1.20 to Kunena 1.5.9 and CB 1.22.

All the best from sunny Austria,
Oliver

Hmmm, now something strange is going on, I think Murphy has me on his watchlist...:

I tested something:

I migrated the forum + CB about a week ago offline using XAMPP on my laptop. After finishing the migration offline, I just copied the whole website back from Laptop to the live webspace) When I switch on my Laptop to the default_ex template, Kunena has is default_ex colors (white/blue), but still the huge avatars.

When I switch on my live-site (with exactly same data) to default_ex, it has Kunenas default_ex colors but small avatars?!?!
