Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.
This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.
The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Tighter integration with Jomsocial possible? was created by powerman
How can we get a tighter integration with Jomsocial? For example, there is no way for users to set their forum settings from their Jomsocial profile. Is this something that Kunena and Jomsocial developer have to work together on?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks, I saw that before but it is like alpha version. Is it safe to put on live site at the moment?

This plugin is a good temporary solution... is there any plan to make the integration more complete?

When it comes to signatures and profile field infos, the guy named JoniJnm have done it but his modification has never been in actuall kunena code. I dont think its even considered, but it was a good start.
To make long story short, i could set my signature, my profile fields informations like age, gender, birthday, city etc in Jomsocial, and Kunena would show that info.
To be honest, if i was the average site user i would find that nifty little brown-yellow man below mine posts count rather confusing.
First thing i would check is mine profile page. How in the world i can know i need to set my gender in the forum settings i never saw before. And...Kunena Forum...what the hell is that?
