Question Signatures

Hello, just another little thought.

While integrating with JomSocial and Community Builder (only tried JomSocial and not Community Builder but I guess it's the same), because the profile is not managed by Kunena, users cannot enter their signatures.
A (secondary) new feature could be allowing users to enter their signatures regardless of integration, making it separate from the profile.

Seems like a lot of work for something that is really unimportant on the forum. I have the plug-in installed which enables people to edit a signature from that JomSocial profile, works really well. Okay, I suppose you could look at it as being a little bit messy, but it does the job.

Actually I said that I requested it as secondary feature; it's nothing developers should worry about for the initial release of K1.6.

If you have Community Builder installed and integrated with Kunena, it is possible to manage the signature content from the CB user profile and the "My Profile" link will take you to that page.

If you do not have either CB or JomSocial integrated with Kunena, the management of the signature is performed by Kunena.

I don't know anything about how JomSocial works or how to modify the signature within that component. Here, at www.kunena.com , when you press the "My Profile" menu tab, you are taken to a JomSocial page. There is a link on that page that takes you to the Kunena forum settings page which is where you change the signature.

This issue seems mainly to be a JomSocial one, wouldn't you agree? :dry:
