The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.
This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.
The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.
well i know from the past, the badwords integration is with the badwords component from
www.schoolastech.com/
Now this is an ancient extension (2006) and looks like development hasnt continued. It is not J1.5 native and you need to hack from memory (change a few lines) to make fireboard work with it, as fireboard was always asking for badwords 1 but the newest (2006) version is badwords 2. So not sure what kunena is doing but my guess they havent looked at this yet so it would still be the same as in FB.
Would be good to integrate a badwords filter in the backend config of kunena without the need of another plugin or component or incorporate the OSTWigit badwords plugin somehow so that it works.
I had tried (on fireboard) the badwords plugin you suggested by OSTWigit thinking that a system plugin should work in the forum but it didnt for some reason.
still wish that i can write my forum signature through a jomsocial plugin and do it from my jomsocial profile
