Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.
This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.
The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

It's a points system where users get points (and awards, etc) from different activities. They can also donate their points to other users, as well as use their points to "buy" access to files and advanced features.
EDIT: and of course you can buy more points by PayPal donations..

ballack: It's unfortunate when someone starts a discussion with a subject heading as general as "Alphauserpoints" because it can mean anything ... and the discussion could go on forever. The original question was "What is AlphaUserPoints?" and Matias answered it. That happened 7 months ago and that's where the discussion should have stopped. I don't think this topic was ever intended to be a discussion about how to integrate AlphaUseroints with Kunena or how to change Kunena to display AUP in different ways. Those are different topics and they belong in different categories.
I have changed the original subject to make it clearer what this discussion was about and I've locked it, not because I consider the thread unworthy of further discussion but to make sure that it doesn't become a general catch-all for every kind of issue/problem/question about AlphaUserPoints. I think you will get better help (and a faster response) if you start a new discussion topic, in the Templates and Design category, asking for ways to display AUP "under your avatar". Thank you.
