Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

I have the Avatar set for Jomsocial, but profile for Kunena so my users can set all their forum preferences and signature. It's a shame not to have access to the Kunena configuration, because there's a lot there.

Kunena offers three options for integration now (in their Admin configuration area), which is VERY helpful and it solves some problems generated by the other programs. Thanks to Kunena for making the integration flexible!!

Dear colleagues,

If you're using both Kunena and JomSocial, you may be interested in this.

We've just released a Joomla component to replace JomSocial Group discussions with the Kunena Forum solution. It's called and you can find it here:

already works with JS v1.2 and Kunena v1.5. Using this component you can assign a Kunena Forum category to each JomSocial Group, improving your online community user experience and making it easier to manage the user participation.

If your need any further information or advice, you can contact us in

Regards.

Yes, Kunena has the optional means to display a signature - see my "signature" at the foot of this message - however whether Jomsocial has incorporated the ability to add or change this information is probably best answered by the experts at www.jomsocial.com . I don't use Jomsocial so I can't help you.

You can, however, add your signature to Kunena without any third-party product (like Jomsocial or Community Builder) if you add the following to your forum page URL ?func=myprofile&do=profileinfo. Provide a link to this address at your website if you want your users to do this.

For example: www.kunena.com/forum?func=myprofile&do=profileinfo . Try it for yourself.

Cheers

But how to merge this link you provide with link to forum on my site which is f.e:
www.my-site.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=546 ? Nothing happen.
