Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

I have a major problem with Kunena on the My discussions and recent discussions tabs.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::isOnline() in /home/motorbik/public_html/modules/mod_hellome/mod_hellome.php on line 27

I have posted on here before but the problem was never resolved. I have been on to Jomsocial to see if they can help as the conflict appears to happen with the jomsocial mod_hellome.php, but they have been unable to help. I have been on to joomla, and they wont help, so I am now stuck with a kunena component that wont work !.

I have check the forums here and I am not the only one with this problem. I was under the impression this version was relatively bug free but it's not and I really feel Kunena should be helping me resolve this !

I was going to donate to the developer meeting as i do think this is the best forum component but I don't think the support has been strong yet !

Can anyone help fix this error for me !!!

Right ! I think I have found the source of the problem !!!

In the configuration of Kunena, if I select Jomsocial Avatar within the Avatar integration section then it causes the error on the Recent discussions and the My discussions tabs.

When I use just Kunena Avatars, then the tabs work ok.

Is there a fix for this as I want to use the jomsocial Avatars?

Hi Matias will look to it, asap (we talked about it in Kunena Team). He first must install JomSocial to test this conflicting behaviour.

Sorry, that I can not give you a solution, but I am "only" Designer :(

What does mod_hellome.php do?

Since the php error happens in that file, it must be the first place to look for the problem. I will see if I can find this and figure it out.

Ok - I have been doing some testing - including here on the site (not visible to anybody but moderators)

The Hello Me Module from Jom Social and Kunena 1.5.4 work together without any problems. No error on any of the pages.

The function call that fails in your case is a Core Joomla function.

What Joomla, Kunena and JomSocial version are you running?

Hi, I have Joomla 1.5.9 and I am running Kunena 1.5.4 and Jomsocial 1.2.204
