Question Facebook Connect

Sorry about the delayed reply i was pruning through the forum and noticed that you hadn't got a reply. You'll have to redirect from the standard Joomla login to the homepage of Jomsocial component (where the facebook connect appears). To do this you must edit the following file /components/com_kunena/template/default/plugin/profilebox/profilebox.php. Change the following (Line 157):

<a href = "<?php echo $loginlink;?>"><?php echo _PROFILEBOX_LOGIN; ?></a>

to

<a href = "Place the login link here"><?php echo _PROFILEBOX_LOGIN; ?></a>

I don't use Jomsocial so i don't know the exact facebook connect link - but that's where it'll go to change the Kunena link to it. Again sorry about the delay (we are usually a lot faster with our responses) and i hope this helps you out

Are you referring to the "Bookmark and Share" feature located near the top of Kunena pages? This site's connection with Facebook, such as it is achieved through the "Bookmark and Share feature, is achieved by a third-party Joomla module. (Kunena, the forum software, does not provide true Facebook connectivity.) I don't know what the module is, but you will very likely find it by searching the Joomla Extensions Directory . Does that answer your question?

EDIT: Apparently there is something called "Facebook Connect". I think it's a third-party plugin developed for Joomla. I don't know anything about it. Maybe you can explain what it means? Because Kunena is agnostic about how people login or register with the website, it probably doesn't matter.

yes i'm talking about "facebook connect" it's very nice. it purpose to login in here with FB account, take in FB my avatar ans status line to suscribe. son cool ))
