Question CB Plugin Selection *NEW*

Here is a Community Builder (CB) Plugin called Plugin Selection. The basic idea of this plugin is allow each user to individually select which other plugins that he/she would like to use and display. The plugins for selecting includes pre-installed CB plugins and all of other CB plugins installed by the Administrator. Once the plugin is installed and published, it allows users to control other plugins (Add To/Remove From their profile, Setting Privacy for each separate plugin). So by using our plugin, the members of your site can be able to change their profile page by themselves easily…

Main features
- Plugin's Back-end side
At the Back-end side of the plugin, the Administrator has a few options to make the plugin to be done flexiblely.
+ Choose the core plugins which are used/displayed as default, users can't control them at Front-end.
+ Choose the other plugins which are associated with this plugin. Only associcated plugins can be controlled by users at Front-end.
+ Choose privacy types which will be used by users at Privacy Setting section at Front-end. There are a lot of privacy types are used, includes:
All of Joomla user types:
- Public
- Registered
- Author
- Editor
- Publisher
- Manager
- Administrator
- Super Administrator
All of connection types comming from configuration of CB automatically as:
- Friend
- Co-workker
- Employer
- Etc.
It means that all of connection types that you putted under Connections tab of CB Configuration Manager will be appeared here automatically.

- Plugin's Front-end side
At the Front-end, the plugin is displayed as a tab. In this tab, users will see 3 main sections:
+ Core Plugins: Here is the list of core plugins (choosed by Administrator at Back-end side of the plugin). Users can see detail information of core plugins but they can't control them.
+ Selected Plugins: Here is the list of selected plugins added by themselves before. User can see detail information, Setting Privacy and Remove them from their profile if he wants. In the Setting Privacy part for each plugin, he can decide who will be able to view that plugin on his profile.
+ Available Plugins: Here is the list of associated plugins that un-choosed yet by current user. So he can add any plugins from this list to his profile if he want.

Other features
- Users can be able to view detail information and setting privacy for each plugin using HighSilde
- The plugin also use Accordion Effects so it's very easy and friendly for users.
- And more…

System requirements
- The plugin is compatible with both of Joomla 1.0.x and Joomla 1.5, Community Builder 1.2 Stable.

I don't know if it's the right forum, because your plugin has only a little bit to do with Kunena... but it looks great!

I would love to have the slide feature as a standart for CB-plugins instead of the tabs...

Also the CB template looks great.

Just one thing that would also be great: To have a Icon in every tab-header. If you click on it a slide-box open with the settings/edit-function of the tab (like you have done it) for the normal CB tabs...

Thanks a lot, yes JoomServices and myself are working on adding many new features to the plugin. Some of which you have mentioned. Unfortunately the Kunena Forums do not offer a supple place to post 3rd Party Extensions.

If you have any other recommendations or wishlist please let me know and we will gladly work on them as time allows it.

But I mean a button next to settings (your settings for privacy) called "edit". If you click edit a slimbox (or similar) opens in which you can edit the tab (like update your profil).

From the link above you are able to make your purchase, this provides the Plugin, Instructions for use as well as Lifetime Updates for the life of the plugin.

We strongly recommend user interaction and that anyone who use our product let us know exactly how we can make things better. Just so you know we have already began implimenting some of the new features and should have Version 1.2 Released within 10 days or so. The features which it will provide are unlistable at this time but we feel it will add some better functionality and new features to the product.
