Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, these ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

OK fenris it was my "Choice" to buy it (the next day you make it free). Now what as a customer are you offering me for what I now consider a Loss (Financialy). It is not like you have come up with a new product, so why should anyone support you commercially in your endevours to create the best Kunena template if you then tell them you will give it away free the next day.

If this was your stated policy then I would have nothing to gripe about but it is not.

Your statement otherwise was rude and insensitive considering I felt you were worth supporting financially to produce & improve on this great product.

Moderator's comment: While we gladly encourage the individual efforts made by our users to improve Kunena - whether or not people have to pay for them - we have been discussing ways to improve the access to such third-party add-on "products". The discussion boards at www.kunena.com are mainly for discussing issues related to the Kunena project; sometimes these discussions cross the line between what supports the project and what doesn't or, to put it bluntly: advertising.

No-one is suggesting that advertising is a bad thing, it's just that the administrators do not believe that the discussion forums at K.com are the appropriate place for it.

We are working on a new feature to be implemented at K.com that will assist users and developers alike. Please stay tuned.
