Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, these ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

When I upload an image it is changing the size of the post. See images attachments.

Replied by sozzled on topic Re:Problem Uploading Images
This might be a template issue: if we could look at your website (URL, please) we might have a better clue. :)

Thanks. What a lovely template you are using. :) What a shame it's not one that's supported. :( Please note, for support issues, There is only one endorsed and supported Kunena template ... default_ex . Because you are using a user-contributed template, I am moving your question to the Kunena User Contributions and Third-Party Options » User Contributions » Templates and Design category.

:) Although I don't know anything about TK Templates ( www.templatekunena.com/ ), the fix for your problem looks as easy as modifing the CSS file for your Kunena template, ../components/com_kunena/template/tk_cubo_pro/css/kunena.right.css and change the rule around line 170 as follows (insert the line I've added in red):

#Kunena td.fb-msgview-right {
background:#FFFFFF none repeat scroll 0 0;
border-left:1px solid #E1E1E1;
border-right:0 solid #E1E1E1;
padding:5px 10px;
vertical-align:top;
width:85%;
}

Further, I have also changed your original subject. You aren't having problems uploading images. The image upload works. It's the way the messages that contain images are displayed that's the problem. (Actually, your problem has nothing to do with images at all. The problem has to do with short-width postings. Try posting a message with the one word "test" in it, to see what I mean.)
