Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, these ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

I made an english and a german Template.

Template "Lintzys Summerdream" Now also for Kunena 1.5.4

It includes:

# PHP-Browserswitch
# PNG-Fix for IE
# separate CSS for Firefox, IE 6 - 8, Opera
# own styled Buttons
# own styled Rank Images
# profilebox on left side and messagebox on right side
# buttons in one row
# proofed on IE 6, IE7, IE8, Opera 9,6 and FF3
# ca 40 modified files
# implemented css bug-fixes
# Admin is hidden in userlist
# 17 Top-Emoticons
# and many little changes, as eg "go to" anker on every post
# easy to style: replace two photos and other style elements
# without any risk: upload the recovery package and original Kunena is restored.

And it includes the BBCode hack from roland76 (look at 2. screenshot). Further: You can choose between the downlod with original dateformat or with changed date: dd.mm.yyyy and 24h. Of course the english version includes englich buttons.

Sorry, I don't know see the double Name of Forum? If you meant this word Forum on screenshot, this can be changed in Backend Kunena-> Configuration -> first field "Name des Forums"

I have attached the file with the fix. Only for Kunena 1.5.4 and only for my templates!
Please upload this file into the Lintzys_summerdream folder (/components/com_kunena/template/lintzys_summerdream)

Attachment fixfordescat.zip not found

At all others, who downloaded my templates. You can use it for my templates that work with Kunena 1.5.4.

I will update the downloadpackages this week on my website. Tomorrow I will upload a patch for my template for Kunena 1.0.11.

All packages are patched and uploaded.

@mway:

Could you please download this imagepack, unzip it and upload it and overwrite the folder emoticons, because there were wrong emoticons too in the old downloadpackage:

webdesign-welt.de/Downloads/imagespatch.zip

I have looked at your website in sourcetext, it is odd, the css of your website is loaded after kunena.com/ css. And therefore, the css of your joomlatemplate overwrites some style-sheets of kunena.css.

Yes you are right, I had to change a lot of the site-templates css to make the forum look nicer. If you know a way to change the loading behaviour of the css files please tell me.

By the way, did you implement the latest version of the extended editor? The Boardcode here is looks a little more tidy.

Thanks again for your excellent work.

Yes, the extended editor is integrated, since my template for Kunena 1.0.9

I splitted it into 2 lines, to have some design control over the look, when the forum width is smaller. Doesn't it look the same in your installation, like on thes screenshot?
