Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, these ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

I created a script for migrating Agora into Kunena. It's a bit rough and not terribly user friendly, but it does get the job handled with minimal fuss.

Check it out on my blog: zenovations.com/blog/2009/04/converting-...mla-migration-tools/

Hope others find this useful too.

I have just converted Agora 3.0.0.4 to Kunena 1.5.5 using this converter and so far everything else seems fine. I quite liked a few of the agora functions but my members didnt get on with it very well and online users dropped slightly so Kunena is on trial now instead.

cheers

Ok, when I setup Agora I had setup an RSS feed from site content to a category which never really worked, what I had not realised is that agora was still storing these in the db so each time I went to post on Kunena after the conversion it was pulling one through.

Enter PhpMyadmin and delete all the rss posts manually and its now working brilliantly!

Thanks Michael, and extra thanks for the email support too.
