Kunena 6.4.9 & Kunena 7.0.1 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.9 [K 6.4.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.1 [K 7.0.1] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

Just performed that procedure on Joomla 1.5.26 to Joomla 2.5.4

FULL SUCCESS


Interesting to note that the 1.5 site had admin demoted to registered user with different password. The 2.5 site had admin as SU with another password and it was admin with the new password on the new 2.5 site. I thought I would need to synchronise users but I did not.

Thanks for this guide I would have missed the need to copy the folder otherwise.
