If I'm not mistaking is that one of the few things the converter can not do is migrating the passwords.

Hello,

Passwords in Joomla! and Kunena use different encoding system, but we are planned to create a plugin to handle that in Joomla!

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I'm waiting for this to migrate a project from SMF2 to Kunena. Any news about this plugin? I really can't wait to have a 100% Joomla powered site at last

Thanks!

For now, we are a bit focused on K1.7.1 and Kunena 2.0, so i don't know when this plugin will see the light

Ok, now I know it'll be worth upgrading SMF to the latest version while I wait for the migrator to be ready for the prime time.

Thanks!
