Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Kunena Search Fatal Error With APC Cache was created by GoremanX
I only get the following error when APC cache is enabled in Joomla:

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /root/of/web/modules/mod_kunenasearch/mod_kunenasearch.php on line 29

It prevents any page with that module on it from loading. Disabling APC cache (or disabling the Kunena Search module) fixes the error.

What version of APC are you running?

We had several issues with older releases. There is still a cache slamming problem with the latest APC version 3.1.6 we are using.
We love stars on the Joomla Extension Directory . :-)

3.1.3 is the version we're running, with no real possibility of upgrading short of compiling a new one ourselves. Any other PHP accelerators come recommended that don't have this problem?

I spoke too soon. I was able to upgrade to APC 3.1.7. I still get that error when that module is active.

I am getting the same exact error even though my system cache is disabled in the backend. This is on Joomla 1.6 with the latest search module
