Kunena 7.0.11 & Kunena 6.4.16 – Security Updates Released and K7.1 in RC1 2

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of three simultaneous security release : K6.4.16, K7.0.11 and K7.1 RC2. Just a reminder K6.4.16 receives only securities fixes untill end of 2026, so it's advised for users to upgrade to K7.0.11. K7.0.11 is the last release of the K7.0 because it's replaced by K7.1 branch with the stable release in the corner. The translations for K7.1 on crowdin.com/project/kunena-forum-7-1 needs to be checked or improved becasue it has been generated by TM (Translation Machine).

Kunena 3.0.7 Released was created by jellek

Introduction

Kunena 3.0.7 [K 3.0.7] is available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 2.5 and J! 3.x. This version is a maintenance release for Kunena that addresses several issues that have been reported since the last version release. and this new version replaces (and makes obsolete) all previous versions of Kunena.

This version of Kunena coincides with the simultaneous release of an updated language pack, downloaded separately, for deployment on non-English websites. The release of this version does not not coincide with the release of other Kunena Add-ons that have not been updated at this time and that may or may not be updated for this version.

In general, Kunena Add-ons designed for previous versions of K 3.x should interoperate with this version of Kunena; in general, Kunena Add-ons designed for older major versions of Kunena will not interoperate with this version of Kunena.

The summary of important changes in K 3.0.7 are:

  • New ebay function, old one is deprecated.
  • YouTube BBcode improved.
  • Improve language strings
  • Improve forum integration plugins
  • General bug fixes
  • Convert Kunena intallation to jQuery for J!3.x series
