Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hey there.
I'm new to Kunena and i really appreciate your work! Thank you for this awesome component.
Now my request: Since User want to interact more and more with the site, I think Kunena would have the potential to act as a comment tool.
Many big sites are working like the following: On the home page there is displayed a news section with a "read more" button and a "comments" button for each news entry.
If you click "Read More" you can read the full article.
If you click "comments", you are getting to the forum section with the posts according to the news.
Most of the time, the whole entry is also the first Forum post.
this is because most big sites have a forum and it makes no sense, to have seperate comments for News section while other discussions are in the forum.
I'd really love a function, to be able to duplicate all Forum posts in an appointed section (in my example the news section
) to a Joomla direction and call them featured or not.
this way there could be worked out the mentioned effect. Furthermore there would be several cool things to do, like category views in joomla with "Comments" button to get to the accordant thread in the forum.
What do you think of my idea and do you understand what I mean?
