Hi,
Does Kunena Discuss work with Joomla 1.6?

In Joomla 1.6 I have Kunena 1.6.2, and Kunena Discuss 1.6.2 installed ok but when I go to Extensions>Plug-in manager and Content - Kunena Discuss there are no options or parameter box on the right, just the details box on the left.

I've used Kunena Discuss with Joomla 1.5 and it worked great...

Regards,
Martin.

Joomla 1.6 has only been offered now for a few days. There isn't much in the way of extensions and templates as of yet. I plan on waiting for awhile before making an effort to "upgrade." I've been watching the Joomla forums for a migrate script, but I can't see making the move until a long time from now. Joomla 1.5 will live on for at least a year.

In the JED Kunena Discuss is 1.5 native:

Correct! None of the Kunena addons have been tested for J! 1.6 - see lacking some options for plugins and modules for joomla 1.6

I think this ought to be a priority. J1.6 will only be as good as it plugins and modules...

For this, you need to have K1.6.3 because kunena discuss and kunena works togheter

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hi,

I have never tested Kunena. I make a new website and so, I thought it was the moment to test J1.6. I was looking for a comment component, and I have found Kunena that I never used.

I confirm, the plugin does not work with J1.6 (no parametter in the plugin page and nothing for comment in the frontend).

Do you have some news for the J1.6 compatibility ?

(I know that you do this on your free time, and it's not easy for you ;) )

My site is not in product, so if you want a beta-test
