Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

I have a very basic lack of understanding about Kunena Discussion...

I just installed Kunena Discussion and it installed without error. I've enabled it. But I see no posts. Even my new posts don't show up anywhere.

Am I missing something basic? Do I have to map my categories? I've not changed any parameters in the config screen. Do I need to?

(By the way...are Kunena Discussion and the Discuss Bot two different things? If so, do I need the Bot?)

UPDATE: I mapped a category. Good news is something showed up on the correct pages (front, blog, etc. as I have specified). Bad news is, all that showed up was the following error message:

-post-: This category does not allow you to write anonymous posts. To keep your privacy, the message was not sent.

Bottom Line: I don't really know what to expect with Discussion. Should some sort of "comments" link show up (like an article comment addon) or something like that? Then when you make a comment a forum topic is created? Or is it something else entirely?

Any help appreciated...I THINK I'm really going to like this plugin if I can get it working! :lol:

Hello,

You don't need the bot, it was something inherited from fireboard day, you can remove it.
