Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

A bit of a beginner comment but I can't see the answer anywhere....

I see there's comments on Articles now which also go into their own forum category.... What is this commenting system? Is it part of Kunena? If so how do you activate it to show at the bottom of articles???

the behaviour you are seeing is a new plugin designed to allow commenting on articles is is called the " kunena discussbot RC2 " and is availible from HERE .

your very welcome but remember both kunena and discussbot are RC2 stage and not recommended for live production websites...

Understood. I'm happy to test them out and report back!

I installed the plugin and enabled it making a few changes to the paramters too... When I go to an article then I get the system message:

-post-: Duplicate. Identical message has been ignored.

Any idea what this could mean? It's before I've even started playing around.

I'm on Joomla 1.5.20 with Rockettheme's Quantive as my Template. Kunena RC2 and the Discuss plugin RC2 as well.....
