Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hi,

I'm playing around with kunena 1.6 RC1 locally so I can prepare the migration for the actual site that use Kunena 1.5.

I tried the Kunena Discuss Bot but i come with a strange behavior. I set the plugin so the writer of the article is the one who create the topic in Kunena (in other words, I leave the field "Topic Owner" blank). But it's not working like that. In fact it seems that the one who start the topic is the one who access to the article first.

For example, if I write and publish an article as "administrator" in the backend, and then log on as "user" to read the article on the site (without logging as "administrator" before), the topic is created on the forum by "user" and not "administrator" as it should be.

I hope you understand what I mean.

I am currently working on all the modules and plugins. Have not had a chance to do the discuss plugin cleanup for the RC2. What you say makes sense. Thanks for reporting!
