Question News posts do not appear in the category but are there!

I have a strange problem, I am using the Kunena Discuss plugin and everything seems to be working fine apart from when I actually view the Category to read the posts they are not there, here is the problem:

1. In the Category overview it correctly shows that there are 11 topics, these topics are all from the news that has been created on my site:



2. In the recent topics overview it correctly lists and displays the posts:



3. If I click on one of these topics it correctly displays the article and a user can reply to it etc:



However, if I click into the category above that shows 11 articles, it states that there are no posts to view:



Could you please explain what is going on here please, it;s very frustrating, thank you.

Maybe the reason is that people will generally help only if they are able to (both skills and time). You must remember that nobody gets paid from this and people visit this forum when they have some spare time.

Another reason why people haven't answered yet, might be that you haven't provided information from your Joomla/Kunena/Discuss versions, used template etc, which makes it very hard to guess (too many possibilities) of what could go wrong.

I must say that this is something I've never seen before. The topics can clearly be seen in Recent Topics etc, but for some reason category doesn't display any of them.

1) Does this happen for all users, including administrator and moderators?
2) Try default template without blending feature, does it work?
3) Can you post directly into this category? Do the topics show up then?
4) Check category permissions, try another setting
