Excess line-breaks was created by gdardick
my main article (and the rest do the same) works fine

but when it is displayed using discuss on the forum I get extra page breaks. I've been looking at CSS, but cannot see why this is happening.

G'day, gdardick, welcome to Kunena and thank you for your interesting question.

Unfortunately for me, when I look at your second link, I receive the message "An invalid post ID was requested." I am not sure why that is the case.

As far as "too many page breaks" is concerned, I don't think I've seen this issue reported here before. It may help if you read What information should I include when I ask for help (including how to post my configuration report)? which may help us to assist you. It might also help if you could look at your Kunena Discuss plugin settings and compare those with what I posted in I do not know how to use Kunena Discuss . Maybe that will help.

I'm still not clear on what you mean by "too many page breaks", sorry.

Could we have the information I asked for in my earlier response?

I apologize. I meant line breaks, not page breaks. If you look at the two links, the Kunena page has the paragraphs spaced out (2 lines per every one in the article).

I am using latest version of Kunena (1.6.5) and Kunena Discuss (1.6.4) under Joomla 1.6.6

If I edit the article in the forum it shows "article=full]5[/article" (within brackets).

The source code in the browser on both pages are the same except for the CSS style references (which is where I believe the problem is)

Yes, line-breaks I can believe! :D We have the same issue here, too. See anything in our Discuss Articles category. It may be fixed in KD 1.7.

No, it's not fixed. It's working in K2.0, though..

We are going to push beta release out soon after Kunena 1.7 gets out. Kunena 1.7 was scheduled to today, but I think we will postpone it for 2 days as there were some last minute changes.

I am hoping to get 2.0 beta1 out in 2-3 weeks from now.
