Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Hallo Leute,

man da ist man mal längere zeit nicht an seiner seite am basteln und dann gibt es so viel neues.


meine fragen
ist ein update von 1.09 auf 1.5.3 möglich ?
ist die version 1.5.3 nativ ?
kann man auch die templates übernehmen ?

Hallo,

Ja Upgarde von 1.0.9 auf 1.5.3 ist direct moeglich.

Einfach 1.0.9 de-installieren (nach BACKUP!!!) und 1.5.3 installieren.

Ja 1.5.3 ist nativ Joomla 1.5.x

Template Aenderungen am besten im K1.5.3 template nach ziehen. Am besten ein Diff zwischen 1.0.9 und Deinem custom Template erstellen und dann diese Aenderungen im 1.5.3 template durchfuehren.

Solange DU nur CSS Anpassungen (z.B. Farben und Schriften) sollte das ziehmlich einfach sein.

Kunena 1.0.x Temaplates koennen leider nicht mit Kunena 1.5.x verwendet werden.

Nur mal so nebenbei: ich hab die 1.5.3 einfach über meine 1.0.10 Version "drüber installiert" - völlig problemlos. Vielleicht als Tip für die ganz Mutigen. :laugh:

Ja - das ist ein neues Feature in J1.5.x. Von nun an in Joomla 1.5.x Land ist der de-install nich mehr notwendig.

Wir haben das Package so erstellt das ein Component Upgrade moeglich ist (einfache Einstellung im Package Manifest). Damit bleiben all Menue Eintraege erhalten.

Die Upgrade hier auf kuenna.com dauern aus diesem Grund nur noch wenige Sekunden von einer Version zure Naechsten. Backups laufen bei uns natuerlich taeglich und on demand... ;-)
