Kunena 7.0.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hallo,

Danke für die Antwort. Hab das mal ausprobiert. Das Script ansich hat funktioniert.

Alle Tabellen haben jetzt utf8_general_ci als Kollation.

Aber am Ergebnis hat das nicht wirklich etwas geändert. Die E-Mails kommen noch genauso wie oben an...

Also im Betreff kryptische Zeichen, im Text jedoch nicht...

Hast du mittlerweile 1.5.3 installiert? Existiert das Problem damit immer noch?

Ich habe vor gefühlten 3 Minuten das Update gemacht. Und natürlich direkt mal getestet...

Leider immer noch mit dem gleichen Ergebnis

Ich hab das Problem lösen können. Hatte (wie im Joomlaboard angegeben) die phpmailer library ausgetauscht gegen eine neuere Version um über den googlemail-server per smtp senden zu können!

hab das jetzt mal spaßeshalber wieder rückgängig gemacht aus purer verzweiflung und siehe da, jetzt werden die Umlaute im Betreff richtig angezeigt.
