Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Hi everybody,

at the moment I am rebuilding my web page and by that I mean also installing a new forum. I tried to install Kunena forum 1.6.3, yet I can not.

I attached a print screen.

What can I do?

Why the previous install has failed ? Can-you give please most details on this ?

This is what I would do.

(1) I would try to uninistall the Kunena component using the Joomla Extension Manager.

(2) I would use phpMyAdmin and DROP all tables in my database with the prefix jos_kunena*

(3) I would follow the all of the instructions K 1.6 Installation Guide very carefully!

(2) PHPMyAdmin DROP can be replaced by choosing Remove Kunena 1.6

I tried both options, reinstalling Kunena and removing Kunena, both end up with the same result:

Remote server or file not found

I will try to manually drop all the tables with the prefix jos_kunena*, just like sozzled suggested.
