I am dying to try this great forunm component. I am using Joomla1.5 and so far have sucessfully installed 3 extensins on the backend. However, when I browse to where I downloaded your extension, click 'upload' of the zipped files, it says I cannot install that component. Please does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

This might be due to the size of the package. It is larger than 2MB and some hosts are limited to 2MB.

There is a very easy solution for this:

Use the Install through URL feature and copy the following URL (full url/link not the shortened text here into it):
joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/14...b4344_2011-01-31.zip
(right click the link and copy link)

Hope this helps!

We love stars on the Joomla Extension Directory . :-)

Thanks for the good advice, I guess I am still doing something wrong, because I typed in http://www/joomlacode..(and the rest) and it said it couldn't from the specified org. Can give you the actual error message if that would help. thanks
hmmmm..I'm still learning here so, maybe it has something to do with my server. Currenlty I am running a wamp server but am only doing 'localhost' for development purposes, the website is no 'live'. Maybe that has someting to do with it? If so I will have to wait until I set my server up for live hosting (forward port 80 and all that) in order to try out Kunena.

Thanks mate! Well you answered TWO questions I had about Kunena really, how to install and how HELPFUL the fourms will be because that's even more important than how great this component is! I realized from looking at the linked info u showed me, that it had to be http://joomla.. and not www.joomlacode .... Installed no problem, looking at it right now :) Cheers and stay dry!
